Buyers – companies or individuals in any Country, which buy from Brazil (purchase orders which imply shipment from Brazil to other countries, and payment from other countries to Brazil).

Sellers – companies or individuals established in Brazil, which are Banco do Brasil customers, free of credit restrictions and can count on the bank’s financing services.

On-line international trade – from advertising to exchange closing
The International Trade Bureau allows you to effect the entire commercial transaction in a secure environment, sparing international calls. In the Bureau, participants can count on all necessary tools for their commercial transactions: offering, ordering, freight quotation and contracting, shipment tracking, payment instructions and exchange closing.
Pre-qualified suppliers
The pre-requisites for all sellers in the International Trade Bureau grant buyers with the certainty of constantly dealing with participants which are pre-qualified by the major financial institution in Brazil.
Integrated logistic service from partner companies
To provide transportation for products commercialized in the International Trade Bureau, Banco do Brasil has established partnerships with some of the major courier companies operating international services in Brazil.
Freight contracting is optional for participants. The advantage of using integrated companies lies upon the simplification of the on-line shipment and the special conditions offered by partner companies to the International Trade Bureau Participants.
Tackling commercial risks – escrow service
The international Trade Bureau admits the following payment conditions:
- In Advance – in which the buyer effects payment prior to shipment.
- Post-shipment – in which the buyer effects payment after receiving purchased products
- In Advance with escrow service – under this condition, seller notifies that the purchase order is ready for shipment and, upon that notification, the buyer effects payment following the system’s payment instructions. Banco do Brasil holds the buyers payment in the original currency, and informs the seller that the shipment can be effected. The integrated courier company informs delivery. Upon delivery, the payment is released for exchange closing. In case delivery is not concluded in 20 days counted from the payment, such payment is returned to the buyer, in the original currency.
The escrow service is particularly appreciated by newly acquainted commercial partners, once it protects equally the buyer and the seller.
Business management in real time
The participants (buyers or sellers) have an exclusive business management page with functions such as bulletin board, business agenda and statistics. The International Trade Bureau notifies participants when there is any news concerning their operations, but the information is only available in this secure site (accessed through single sign-on). This allows better control of your operations and real-time business monitoring.
Special offers without spamming
Offerings with specific conditions to pre-selected buyers, without SPAM: the sales offers are grouped in a specific links on the buyer’s secure management page. The participants (buyers or sellers) have exclusive web-based functions such as bulletin board and business agenda. The International Trade Bureau notifies participants whenever there is any news concerning their operations, but the information is only available in this secure site (upon single sign-on). This allows better control of your operations and real-time business monitoring.
